Hello! Just wondering if you could help me out with some girl names. I posted previously when we found out we were having 3 girls but we haven't come up with names for them. I love some of the names I have seen on some of the posts and would love any suggestions too. Thanks for your replies. Tracey EDD 4-21-04

What kind of names do you like? Trendy, traditional, biblical, feminine, tomboy? Do you want the names to be matching, or different?
I really like the baby name book Beyond Jennifer and Jason, and Beyond Jennifer and Jason, Madison and Montana. The author's name is Linda Rosenkrantz. She categorizes the names, and gives lots of helpful advice.
Let us know what types of names you are thinking of, and I'll try to come up with some!

My dh likes more traditional names while I like the ones that are a bit more trendy. I like some boyish names but probably prefer more feminine names. I would rather they not all be matching or start with the same letter. My mother is deceased and I thought about naming one of the babies after her. Her name was Josie. My middle name is Elaine and I also considered passing this along or using "Laney". Tracey 4-21-04

Hello and congrats on your ggg trio! I think the name Josie is a great name! One of my trio's name is Lainey. One day the name just popped into my head, and it stuck until the day they were born. My other daughters name is Taylor. I think the idea of playing off of family members names is a wonderful idea. I've always liked the names Lauren and Adalyn but my husband didn't care for them. Good luck to you in your name search!

Hi ! I have bbg. I named my girl after her daddy Brian , she is Briana Lee (also his Middle name) I named my boys after going through dozens of books and making lists of 1st names and lists of middle names, narrowing it down and just making a final choice, dh and I did it in one night! They are Riley Quinn and Jett Ryan. As far as other names go , I can share some that are in my family! My cousin named her daughters Raine and Quincey My sister has 5 girls , their names are Ashley, Mandy, Mikayla, Marcia and Renzie. Ive noticed also in recent years how many people are using their maiden names as a first name for their child. Also simply changing the first letter or two of a name can give it a whole new look or sound! such as; Taylor changed to Saylor, Shari to Sarri ( my friend named her daughter Sarri) Also Ive seen many children named after a city like, Paris or Brooklyn! Or a state like Virginia, Georgia! Well what ever you decide you will just know it when its right! And dont let anyone outside you and dh influence your final choice! I found that you just cant make everyone happy! And somebody always has their 2 cents to share, even if they are rude and not meaning any harm! Its hard enough choosing one name much less three all at once! Good luck, Kim

Well, I'm having bbg- my girl will be named Zoe Rose- Zoe means "life" and we think that is fitting after all we've been through to make this new life. Her are some of my other favorite names, though: Monica (my sister's name), Maya, Anya, Emma, Isabella, Kaya, Grace, Logan, Caitlin
Watch alot of TV- they all have great names! And I like to read the credits to try to get some different ones.
Good luck and congratulations! Kendra 20w 4d-bbg edd 5/12/04

All of my girls' first names end with a and their middle names end with e. I did not do the same letter for the first names because they are too hard to say (for me anyway). I was a teacher so it was hard for me to come up with names of children I had not taught, or had no feelings towards. I really liked Isabella or Amelia, but choose Emma for Baby B instead. Good luck!!!

Our girls names all end with the letter "n" (Jillian, Kathryn and Lauren). It was pure coinsidence they were alphabetical (J,K,L) but this ended up being pretty cute. Instead of being baby ABC in the hospital they were JKL.

I have gggg quads. I thought coming up with all of those names would be impossible, but we found out it was easier than trying to name a singleton. With one, you feel that it has to be perfect. With more, you can relax a little. We actually had 6 girl names and 1 backup boy name when the babies were born.
My girls are:
Amanda Kathleen, Samantha Grace, Olivia Nicole, and Victoria Rose.
Sarah and Cassandra didn't make the cut, and it was only after they were born that this was decided. Olivia would have been thrown out b/c the only middle I liked with it was Nicole, and Nicholas was our back up boy name.
It is coincidence that they end in "a". I have always loved Grace and Rose, but couldn't come up with a middle name I liked other than the usual Ann, so those names became middles. I almost changed Victoria Rose b/c it seemed too feminine. Turns out she is absolutely our princess.
We liked names that could be shortened or sporty, or kept more formal depending on the personality of the child. Our boy names were the same. I think that my girls' sound right for CEOs, senators, soccer stars, astronauts, scientists, or musicians or whatever.
We mostly call the girls by their nicknames: Mandy, Sammie, Livie, and Tori. But we still use the formal names regularly. Tori really isn't a Vicki and none of them really seems like a Rose or Rosie to me.
BTW- we didn't know how popular Olivia is until after she was born. And we have found that the right names will come to you, and you will also have divine guidance in choosing which baby gets which name. Somehow it will turn out right.
Good luck and congrats!!!
