I have two 8-week olds who have been diagnosed with severe PVL. I am looking into doing oxygen therapy with them...soon. I have heard that the earlier you do it, the better. There is not a lot of research on this treatment on infants, but I think it is worth a try.

Has anybody else done this with their children? I have only heard positive results, but would love to hear from anyone.

I have several friends who have kids with CP that have tried HBOT. None of them have seen much results. Everyone says that the kid's high tone gets better but it is a temporary change and the high tone does return over time.

However, none of them tried it at such a young age. I would think the younger the better since brain growth happens early.
