Anyone? Bueller?

Same old stuff as usual around here - trashed house, playing kids and pulling together meal after meal & snack after snack. It seems all they do is eat some days!

My oldest has been out of town since Friday - feels weird w/o her here. She really is a big help (when she wants to).

How is everyone else's week starting off?

About the same as yours, toys all over the house, dishes in the sink from this morning, I don't feel like doing!! Washing laundry, and thinking about what I am gonna feed the tribe for lunch today, I feel like we are eating the same things over and over because of my DS allergies!! Hope you older one comes back soom to help you out, it's always nice to have help. My DH is going bowling after work tonight so its a day with my and the kids, and the cold weather is starting to set in.

Do you all do anything special to get ready for the winter and being stuck inside a lot of the time??

In last week's update, Ella had a stomach virus. This week I can report that the rest of us got it!

Not a very relaxing weekend to say the least! But we are all up and back at it today.

Thankfully it doesn't get too cold to go out here until mid Dec or so. We don't really do anything in preparation.

We do have a new place to play this winter. One of the local churches built an inside play ground that is the coolest! It is free and they have a little cafe to eat lunch. My kids love it and best of all - its FREE!

Oh, that stinks!!! I hope you guys feel better soon.

I'm not doing a whole lot besides studying and beading, beading and studying while I'm recovering from surgery. I did buy some material to make the girls' Halloween costumes, so I'll probably start that soon, too. OVERACHIEVER? Yes. And possibly a little nuts, too.

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk!!! I am so sorry you guys were sick. Stomach bugs are the worst. Glad to hear that you are on the mend.

Some stuff, different week! LOL! This Friday is homeschool science club up in Savannah, which DH and I run. Usually one specific mom hangs with my monkeys in the nursery area of the church we rent, but she isn't going to be there this week. I have no idea what I am going to do! I have k-2 graders (about 15 kids) who will be painting, cutting, and creating a craft tide pool. There is no way I can do that AND have the trio running around. Ugh. Kevin is doing chemistry, so clearly he can't take them. It's in the middle of the school day, so our one and only sitter is in school. I don't have a clue what to do! LOL!

Other than that, it's soccer tonight, but not on Thursday. as Kevin will be working late. He is picking up more overtime so that we can make ends meet, but it's about killing me! He leaves before everyone gets up and then is gone after everyone is in bed. I hate that!!! Then he comes in with just enough time to mess up the house and leave again. LOL!

So, that's my week.

Much better start to our week. The kids were good yesterday for the first time in about two weeks. We worked on "active sharing." Whatever that is.....It worked so I won't knock it.

Tired today but refused to take their nap at regular time. Stayed up late last night. Don't know why. I can only give them the opportunity to sleep, I can't actually MAKE them sleep. That part sucks.

Nothing planned, just trying to keep all of our heads above-water for another day, week, month. Don't know why I'm so cheery.
