#4115, "Quick Head's Up and Update on Raquel and Eliana!"

Wanted to let everyone know that Raquel is still on bedrest and little Eliana is now measuring 4 lb. 8 oz.(?) or 4.8 lb (which would be 4 lb. 12 oz.), or whatever it is, but fast approaching 5 pounds!!!
Raquel will hit 34 weeks tomorrow!! Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!

Also, she is being scheduled for a c-section in three weeks! We have begun praying for the 37 week mark and her scheduled c-section, with a take-home baby and no NICU time.

For everyone on this site who is now pregnant, please know that you are following in some really excellent shoes. Please know that all things are possible, and all of us on this site are behind you 100%.

I am very determined to have a "Meet and Greet/Girlie Girl" shower for Raquel and Eliana once they have come home from the hospital and the spring weather is fully confirmed. I'm thinking about a luncheon at a nice restaurant with all of us from SoCal to join in. I've already begun shopping for an extra precious dress or bracelet for this sweet baby. Raquel has most of the necessities for a baby from her prior baby shower that left such grief in her heart -- but, she's beginning to sound happy and positive for a "girlie girl" shower and I think it's a great idea.

Oh, and I wouldn't buy anything too small. It sounds like this little girl is going to keep growing for a bit more!

Congratulations, Raquel and you just keep on gestating, honey!

Love,
Cat w/3 Kittens
