Well, my babies turn 6 this January.

Trial begins tomorrow afternoon.

I will appreciate any prayers that you can provide. I need prayers that the judge will see clearly; that she will be just and provide recompense; and, that the doctor will have his eyes opened to what he did to me and my children. Most of all, I need prayers for peace; courage; strength and focus.

I will provide updates as I can. I am so grateful to all of you for being here.

We started the trial yesterday morning. My expert was on the stand all day long. It was grueling, but also satisfying; hard and bitter-sweet. Carina got to go someplace with mommy for the first time since January 8, 2004. She sat on the counsel table all day long and came back home with me last night. There is something that just feels right knowing that she is there with me for this.

We are not done with my expert, but he will be coming back the following Monday. Monday I will be putting on my father and my sister. It is likely that trial will not be over until after Thanksgiving.
