After consulting w/ some other triplet moms, I have decided to get the Mountain Buggy Urban triple stroller, which is 42 inches wide as it's a side by side stroller. We plan to get the bassinets so we can use it right from our trio's delivery.

My question is...what to do for trips to the grocery store, places indoors w/ standard doorways? I don't want to get another triple stroller - mtn buggy is quite expensive! Has anyone used a double stroller and carried the 3rd baby in a Bjorn type carrier for trips inside w/ standard doors? I'm wondering if his is totally crazy or if it can be done!

I don't know anything about the mountain buggy, but have done the double stroller with one baby in the carrier. That worked well. We too had a stroller that didn't fit through standard doorways, but I loved it for walks. That was a quad stroller. We were then lucky to be then be given a triplet stroller, that did fit through doorways and we used it for a while. It was harder to steer though. So, as I said I also did double with a carrier.

Personally, I would not go for a triple side-by-side for anything other than outside activities.

The three behind each other is ideal for shopping and any tight space!
