Happy Monday Ladies and Vaughn!
Hopefully everyone is digging their way out of the recent Nor'easter and spring will be blossoming for ya'll soon. We're long overdue for consistently warm weather. My family has been sick for 7 weeks and I'm exhausted. Hopefully Matthew is the last person to be ill this season (officially FLU )---but the girls haven't had the flu yet...
Exciting news: getting a washer and dryer! YEAH! DH was horrified to learn it takes 1hr50min (110minutes!) to dry a load of laundry. It'll be delivered on Wed. ye-haaa!

GUESS WHAT? I'm going to Atlanta this weekend to visit a small music school and picking up Torunn to bring her home w/ us for a week!!! She'll go with our family on Spring Break (the Keys)--which is her 'winter break' (LOL) We're so thrilled to have her "home".
btw, I think we're getting an exchange student next year--a boy. Haven't quite decided yet.

1. When do you expect the first WARM day? (no matter what temp)
2. What are you reading or watching lately?
3. Admit it--who's DOING(aka 'helping') their child/ren do a project?
4. Do you give anything up for Lent?
5. When is spring break?

Just finished helping the triplets do their respective projects.

4. Do you give anything up for Lent?
Yes, I give up Diet Coke almost every year. My family hates it b/c I become a mean mommy!

1. When do you expect the first WARM day? (no matter what temp) By the end of this week.

2. What are you reading or watching lately? Oh man just finished reading a great book called "America's Cheapest Family" great tips on how to live life debt free. All sorts of goodies gotta check it out. I am also reading Beth Moore's latest book called "Get out of the Pit" can't wait to see her in a couple of weeks as she talks about the book.

3. Admit it--who's DOING(aka 'helping') their child/ren do a project? n/a kids are too little for such things. I'd like to say I wouldn't do their work for them.

4. Do you give anything up for Lent? no

5. When is spring break? this week

Tracey we'll be breathing the same air this weekend while you're in Atlanta. I hope you make time to see the aquarium while you're here. Enjoy your holiday in the Keys. That is so cool you get to have your Torunn with you. It's just so special to hear about the cool bond you have with her.

Morning Everyone! I've got one home sick this AM myself, just a runny nose and headache, but he needs a day home to just catch up I think!! Busy weekend here for us, Shawn (6), decided he wants his own room, we have the space, so we spent the weekend cleaning the room out, which turned into cleaning out the basement, which turned into cleaning out the garage, which means we now have a heaping load to take to the dump! He wants a Boston Bruins Room, so we went to Home Depot and got the Team Colors and are in the process of painting it now. It looks good so far.

DS #1 Stevie had a Basketball TOurnament this weekend, it was the playoff's, single elimination, and they lost in the 1st round, double overtime, by 1 point. IT was just one of those games where someone had to lose, he was DEVESTATED! It was the first time he took winning/losing so seriously. He's almost 10, it was so sad to see him cry, I was almost in tears myself, had to hold it back!

1. Warm Weather-probably not until we go to FLA in April , it's NH and it's COLD! -21 with the wind chill yesterday, BBBBBRRRRRR!

2. I am about to start 5 People you meet in Heaven. I am watching American Idol, and have TV'od Grey's Anatomy for the past month and need to sit down and catch up. Oprah too!

3. Not currently "helping", but just got done

4. I don't typically give up anything for lent, because I am horrible about sticking to things like that, just like New Year's Resolutions!

5. We get 2 vacations here in NH. We start one break this coming Friday, and have all week next week off. Then April 21st is Spring Break. I would perfer to do 1 week in March, but we need the Feb break for the ecomony here. Big Ski Country!

Enjoy Atlanta and Torunn Tracey! Take care everyone!

1. When do you expect the first WARM day? (no matter what temp) Hoping to get up to 60 tomorrow.
2. What are you reading or watching lately? I'm reading the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis for bookclub on Thursday night, I hope I get it finished by then.
3. Admit it--who's DOING(aka 'helping') their child/ren do a project? Nope, the kiddos aren't old enough yet to have them, so I'm still dodging that bullet.
4. Do you give anything up for Lent? I'm not Catholic, so nope. I probably should give up my Pepsi though, just because it would be good for me.
5. When is spring break? In April right before the boys' birthday, I hope we can go somewhere this year, I really need a break.

All three of the boys have been down this weekend with bronchitis. We had a 5 year old here that had the same thing last week and seemed fine when his parents put him down but was dead the next morning, so it's been pretty scary here. Nick is finally feeling well enough today and he wants to go to school. I'm working from home today as the sitter is having a medical procedure done, which means really, I won't get much work done, lol.
