#22716, "homework & triplets"

My BBG started kindergarten last week. They r all in separate class. They get a homework packet on monday and it needs to be turned in by friday.
Its first day & i am going nuts making them sit & do homework. I try to do one on one but one of my boys will always come & disturb.

I am wondering how do u all manage, if one on one what does the other two do ???
any suggestions will be appreciated.

It's only been a week so give it a little time. The kids (and you!) need to find a routine and things will settle down.

When my boys were little, we had the same situation. I let them play at the school playground or at home for 1/2 hour after school. They needed to let off steam. Quick snack and then it was homework time.

I would let all 3 sit at the kitchen table and work my way around it. At the kindergarten level, the kids needed a lot of supervision (read instructions/do work). But after a few weeks, the homework books were similar so they knew what to do on each page. If someone needed extra help, the other 2 went to their rooms to read or do computer educational programs. It was quiet time - no tv!

You will get the hang of it!

Hi, there! Wow - you've hit the kindergarten years. Time does fly, doesn't it?

I'm recovering from shoulder surgery so I'm laying low for a few months. My little guys are going into high school and my oldest leaves for college in a few days.

Take care!
