#57, "Triplet grandmother"

Our GGB triplets were born last August 29th at 36 weeks and I promised to post so here I am at last. We had good birth weights, but one of our girls had a congenital heart problem that had not been detected and she had to have open heart surgery. They waited until she was two months old before the doctors did her surgery and she is home now and doing very well. She is a bit behind the other two, but she is coming along. We feel very blessed to have them. I have been a very busy grandmother, but loving every minute of it. It is really a labor of love. It is amazing how people step up and help. My daughter found a website that created a calendar menu that she e-mailed to all her friends and they signed up for meals. In the first two months almost all meals were provided for their family. That was a huge help. Our grandbabies are now 4 1/2 monts old so they are sleeping through the night, most of the time. The girls are sleeping together in one crib, and the boy in his crib, but all three are together in their nursery. I think they will be together for a good long time. We have much to learn, and i especially want to thank anxious abuella for her help during my daughters pregnancy when I was so worried all the time. God is good and we have been blessed.

I have wondered and wondered how your littles were! So glad that all is well. It truly is such a blessing and a miracle to have the chance to share in the lives of these little guys. Meals were huge and I am glad your daughter got the support she needed in that area. You take care and ENJOY!

Thank you so much. You were the one who helped me so much during my frantic months of worry. I really wanted to tell you how much I appreciated all your responses back when I needed support. We are fine now, with God's help, we will enjoy our blessings.

I was blessed to have my mother, the boys' abuelita, for the first 10 years of life. She was an amazing source of love and caring and we would not be the same without her. Your value is immeasurable in their lives!
