#1349, "For the Women: what about your bodies afterwards?"
|
I guess this is pretty personal, but I don't know who else to ask. I lost all my pregnancy weight, plus 10 pounds, but my belly is sooo horrible looking, I can't get over it. I've used Retin-A, which helped a little bit, and I've been dieting, but I cry every time I look at myself in the shower. I can't let my DH look at me; it's too gross. I love my boys, but I feel like I paid a huge price to have them. I don't ever want them to know this, though. I can't afford plastic surgery. But I feel like I look like an old woman already. Sometimes I feel like this pregnancy was a huge medical mistake. Come on; who really has THREE at a time, anyway? I'm so in love with my babies. I'm so grateful we didn't reduce. But I feel like an acident victim. Maybe the men on this board could answer, too. My DH is so loving, and so happy, but I can't bear to have him see or even touch my belly. I'm only 34. Will this go on for the rest of my life? Nicole
