I like the idea of having it at a play gym or chuckee cheese type place! All those toddlers running around your home is a huge responsbility even under close supervision things can get broken, ect... And just think you will have no clean up if its held outside your home! Sounds like a blast either way! Our 1st bday we rented a hall too and invited freinds and family! Last yr for 2 bday we did a home pool party in June, it was nice cus we can be outside at that time of year! I will probably do the same this yr.
I think the first thing to do is come up with a theme for the party and go with that, Then you can decide if it would be better suited for your home or elsewhere.
