I got another referral for you. You will need a level 3 NICU becuase some hospitals like a Level 2 can only take babies about 35 weeks and beyond. They don't have the staff or equipment needed incase of emergencies or to care for the premee babies. Also if you deliver at a level 2 or lower and then the babies need to be transfered you will not be in the same hospital as them. When you pick a hospital schedule a visit to walk through Labor and Delivery and NICU so you have a good idea of what to expect and where to go. It was really nice of us to do this. My DH liked it alot.

I HIGHLY recommend ANY Peri from the Magella Medical Group, Inc.
(especially Dr. Tamerou Asrat) - they have privileges at both
Saddleback and Hoag. Dr. Asrat was my Peri at Hoag. Magella's phone #
at the Hoag office is 949-515-7861 (they can give you the # for the
Saddleback office if needed). They are really great there... I should
know I was in the hospital for 9 weeks before my twin boys were born
and I was seen by a Peri and an ob/gyn everyday.

As far as ob/gyn's are concerned - my Dr. was Dr. Richard Christie -
he was awesome... but any of the other Dr.'s in his practice are great
as well - I think there are 6 total???... again, I saw all of them when
I was on bedrest in the hospital. His office number is 949-644-2722...
they are located in Newport Beach next to Fashion Island.
