My fist c-section was bad, but I think that was just because I had nearly delivered him when they had to get him back out. It took a while to recouperate, but I had no help, no family, nothing, so that didn't speed my recovery. With the triplets I was up and out of bed, doing everything for my trio the morning after the c-section (which was in the evening)! I was 40 pounds lighter and raring to go! The doctor that came through to check me that morning thought he was seeing me for discharge, and the nurse said, "NO! She just had those babies last night! '' I would have left, too! I also was happier to take the meds. I was so sure that they were having an affect on my baby the first time that I was bad about taking them. What a difference! Don't worry! It's not that bad!
