We usually go to a friends house and party and crash there or throw a major rager at our house. Pre-baby of course! Last year I had strep throat, but we still went to a friends house to party while my parents watched the kids until noon the next day. I couldn't drink b.c my throat hurt so badly and we had a major ice storm, so no one showed up at the party! Plus the TV went out so we missed the ball drop. I was in bed at 12am.

This year, no one wanted to host the party, so Tim and I rented a suite at a local hotel. Actually my parents paid for it as a Christmas gift. 2 bottles of wine and a jacuzzi tub is how we brought in the new year. It was wonderful, we talked like we haven't talked in years. We decided to do this atleast twice a year. We are blessed with my wonderful parents that willingly watch the kids whenever we ask. We didn't have to be home until noon today!
