Most people seem to love their triplet strollers, so I'm in
the minority for sure, but I hated mine. We had a triple
decker and it worked fine, if you have to have a stroller
it's great in the early days for getting infants to doctor's
appointments and such. I just found it so cumbersome -
difficult to turn, barely fits in even a large elevator - and
I HATED all the looky-loos who would come over to gawk and
comment when they saw it. But I live in a small, rural
community so people just don't see triplets commonly around
here. If you live in a larger community, especially if you
live in a subdivision and have nice paved sidewalks and all
that, you would probably love to have a stroller to take them
out on daily walks etc.

For me, we hardly went anywhere for the first year, mainly
just to doctor's appointments, and after the first couple of
outings with the triple decker, I decided to divide and
conquer if only to minimize the public attention factor. I
used a double stroller and Bjorn most of the time. As they
get heavier, it is more cumbersome but can be done for about
the first 9 months, in my opinion. Then you could do a
backpack & double stroller, but I usually did a double +
single and brought another adult to help me out when I did
need to take all 3 out together. Now they are 2.5 and pretty
much hate to be strapped in a stroller, so they can walk
holding my hands if we are going a short distance, or 2 in
the stroller and 1 walking.

It really depends on your needs and how much you generally
like to be out and about, whether you need to be able to take
them out by yourself on a regular basis, etc. In hindsight, I
wish we hadn't jumped into buying the triple decker, it wasn't
the best solution for our family.
