The trips have been in daycare since they were 21 months old. They have been at their current daycare since Sept. We love their daycare. Three teachers with 17 kids in the class. It has longer hours b/c I work at the hospital. Until recently they have done really well and now they are getting in trouble all the time.

They only recourse of action is the cozy corner (a beanbag chair with books) where they have to go to for timeout and it is not working for my trips. Last week we talked with the teachers about their behavior and they got in trouble at home for it and this week they are right back in trouble. Biting each other, hitting, bossy around other children and back talking to their teachers. At home they go to calm down time (the laundry room) with the door shut and if that doesnt stop them then they get a spanking..of course they can't spank at school and they want ideas from me on how to control the children at school....HELP?

Our children are out of control..I am sure they hear the bossing and barking commands from us b/c they are so wild and unfocused most of the time.

Can anyone offer any suggestions for consistency at home and daycare with discipline?
