My first thought was that they probably weren't looking at her because she was calling the wrong names...my girls aren't identical, but when people get their names mixed up, they DON'T respond (afterall, the person is not talking to them).

I think if the teacher cannot get their names right after a month, then there is a serious problem in the class---maybe they should move rooms!

Good luck...Oh, and one of mine had a problem in class and I thought the teacher was a bit short with me..I was so upset...anyway she called me several times at home until she finally got me and was almost in tears about the situation--she wanted to do whatever she chould to make my girls' year FUN (and apologizd for being short--she was frustrated) and things have been continually better! That's a GOOD teacher...My one who thought Mrs. Mary Ellen didn't like her now says School's fun, and hugs her goodbye everyday!
