Charter schools are privately run public schools. So you choose the school. Magnet schools are public schools that focus on a certain skill. They have math and science magnet schools, a drama one, international studies, etc. Those schools have very high academic success and every teacher has to have a masters to work there. The only problem is they are located in really poor areas. But I'm not afraid of poor.
Yeah, there was a story there. It's on my blog today. I had a big old hissy fit in the front office. Nice. Michele
