#2158, "MRSA in my kids' class"

I got a letter home from the school saying that a child in the triplets' class had MRSA. She had what they thought was a mosquito bite that didn't heal and they finally took her to the doctor and she had MRSA.

My kids catch EVERYTHING. If someone in the next building sneezes, they get the cold. To make it more fun, due to all the antibiotics to get rid of NEC in the hospital, they are immune to the first round of antibiotics.

What are the chances of us coming down with MRSA? Is it airborne? Anyone know signs & symptoms?
