Two of my boys had MRSA last year. My boys are 13, and I was shocked when it ended up in our house - times two! My pediatrician says it is EVERYWHERE, and there's nothing you can do to totally prevent it. The two that got it share a room and bathroom, so I wasn't totally surprised when the second one came down with it. My other two, who share a room and have their own bath, did not get it, nor did my husband or I. We practiced lots of handwashing, purell, antiseptic wipes on doorknobs and light switches, etc. They had to take baths with 1/2 cup of bleach and bathe with surgical soap.

Heather, BBBB (two identical, two fraternal) 28 1/2 weeks, now age 18!
