The first set of crib tents I had were the original version and I could just stick my arm through the slats and cover them. Then when I got one for Austin, I got the Crib Tent II that went all the way down with mesh. Is that the ones you have? I hated that I couldn't stick my arm through and cover him. My DH hated it so much, he would unzip him every single night before he went to bed and leave the zipper down.
