Oh, I'm so sorry! I understand; we lost Spencer at 19 days old. I also completely understand about nurses; it's amazing what a difference a good or bad nurse can make. I agree with the person who said to request specific nurses. We did that at first, and a few times I had the pull the "I just lost a baby and I need all the consistency I can get to function right now" card to get my way. It was worth it because it helped me deal and cope during that horrible time. I also had to learn to get really, really assertive with the nurses. At first, I asked if I could do things, but learned to just either do things or tell them what I'd be doing. If they said anything I didn't like, I just told them this is how I'd been doing things and I was comfortable with it. I remember one nurse who nearly had a coronary when I took a baby out of the incubator myself. She freaked and I just said I'd been doing it all along and that I was fine, thank you. It was hard, though. Just know that you are the mom and those babies are you #1 priority.

Hang in there, be strong for the survivors and take care of yourself so you stay healthy. They need you. Just hold them and love them and know you're always going to be a mom of triplets, and your kids will always be triplets..
