#356, "Bicycles... Bicycles... I want to ride my bicycle."
|
Ok, enough of that song... but I was curious if any of you are into bike riding enough to help answer some questions.
1) Are Trek's good bikes? We're looking at the Trek Navigator 200's, which are in the 'comfort bike' category (between a hybrid and a mt bike).
2) Have you ever used the 'trailers' for kids? We're looking at getting two of the Trek trailers for behind the bikes. What are your experiences, thoughts, etc.
3) If you did use trailers, how long did you do it? The kids are 2.5 and 25-30 pounds. I figured we'd get good use this and next summer, and possibly a little the next, but not sure.
As a side note, these treks have 'hitches' that actually allow you to hook up a 'trainer bike' - sortof makes the bike into a tandem bike. It's pretty slick, but we'd have to figure out how to daisy-chain them so we could get 2 behind each bike!
Thanks, Steve
