LOL - we've left our girls when they were much younger than yours and had a great time! Next month, dh & I are heading to Guanajuato, Mexico. I can't wait, as we haven't been to the interior of Mexico in several years. In our case, it'll be much cooler in Guanajuato than where we live (forecast: in the 80's here all week long). I do get anxious when we travel, but I consider it "irrational" anxiety that I need to overcome in order to LIVE - kwim?


Updates on my girls:

My 5 yr old dd is in Kindergarten, and her big accomplishment is reading. What a relief!

My 4 yr old dd is still at home and is so bright, has an elaborate explanation for everything. I think she's going to grow up to be a lawyer like her Daddy. Or a mechanic - she loves cars!

My 32 month old dds have been potty trained (day & night) since January. Naturally, that's their huge accomplishment. I'm already planning their 3 yr old party, a Dora theme with backpacks, maps, and all. Yes, I'm going overboard!
