My kids (GBG) are in second grade right now and they were together in preschool, but we chose to have them separated starting in kindergarten. Would it have been easier on ME to have all three in one class? Definitely. But we felt it was more important that they be treated as individuals. They also need time away from each other (could you imagine having your sibling with you 24/7?).

My three are also at different levels academically. Having them in separate classes also eliminates some of the competition and hard feelings. They also make their own friends, go to birthdays alone, and have their own special teacher--just like non-multiple siblings.

So that's what has worked for us. We also have 6 second grade classes in our school so we didn't have that concern!

Good luck!
Kathy
