Hi Tami,
Not sure if you were singling my post out. But, it goes a lot deeper than "individuality" when it comes to splitting HOM up. I kept my post short because my time on here is VERY limited these days.
It's a personal preference that's all. I just wanted to emphasize one of the most important points to me. If you decide to keep your kids together, it doesn't mean that they are not individuals. That is foolish thinking. Sorry if that was the interpretation you got. I was only speaking on behalf of how I feel about my kids. I should have been more specific, and I was reading Sharon's post and nodding in agreement:
Quote: "They are now in 1st grade and in separate classes. They LOVE it! They each think their own teacher is the best! They have separate friends, play together (with a big group of kids) at breaks, etc. They are all thriving. When asked if they would like to be together next year, they all yell, "No!" So we plan to keep them in separate classes. I have seen each blossom into their own personalities. People who don't know they are triplets would think their are just these "kids" in first grade. I don't dress them alike."

Just for the record here, despite three or more sets of different homework or going in three or more different directions, believe me, many of us that do decide to split up our HOM, still do spend quality, free time with them.
