Our son also could only eat the rice cereal. reactions for him were very LOOSE poops, hives around the mouth and VERY cranky! No one in our family has allergies, but he does. So you can try the oatmeal, but if your are nervous at all about allergic reactions start with the rice. Zayn 3/6/04
