I was talking to a friend yesterday about pumping and breastfeeding her 3 month old now that she has gone back to work. Evidently, those thoughts welled up last night and I was awake for 2 hours in the middle of the night stewing about how I was possibly going to manage once I have to go back to work. (I know, I'm worried about things that aren't going to happen for ages!)

I have been telling myself that I can only do the best that I can do but I realize now that my picture of new motherhood had always included committed breastfeeding. My picture of new motherhood needs some serious updating in many ways now!

Anyway, I'd love to hear the advice and experiences that you get. I would think about reposting your question on the main forum. It seems that many fewer people check in here...
