Well....what can I say. Just as soon as I get the infant to start sleeping through the night....and the 3.5year old triplets to start taking naps during the day again (I have to seperate them) they have now been taking turns getting up in the middle of the night and climbing into bed with us.

This has been going on for the past few weeks. At first, we were just putting them right back in bed. But since this could happen at midnight with child A, 1:30 with child B, then 2am with child A again, and then maybe 3am with child C....I am just too dang exhausted so I tell them to get on the floor because I cant get any sleep with them in the bed.

We moved into a new house at the end of August (my dad died and we moved to his property) so I am concerned that they are just now "processing" all of this so I dont want to be too harsh.....but I dont want to encourage this to become a habit.

Anyone have experience with this. I remember that our 15 year old went through the same exact thing at this same exact age and a school psycologist told me it was fine and to let her sleep in our room if it was fine with us---that culturally, Americans tended to be a little harsh when it came to "pack sleeping" as we tend to just expect our young to go off and just sleep alone at a very young age. I dont really agree with that, but I did allow my first to sleep on a small mattress on the floor in our room until she felt more secure and then she just slept in her own room from then on.

It is just so different when you are dealing with 3 of them at one time.
