Well, summer for us has far less scheduled activities, and I can tell you their behavior is definitely worse then LOL!
Our school-year schedule:
M - F Preschool (5 days/week) 8:00 - 10:30 M, T, TH Daycare for the afternoon 12:00 - 4:00 lunch, nap, outdoor activity, then center time W night Awana SA morning - gymnastics, which they LOVE. SU morning - church SU evening - children's church choir practice
I have one that does seem stressed by this schedule and he often wants to stay home and play with his toys. But when he gets there, he does enjoy preschool and daycare and REALLY enjoys Awana.
None of them seem to enjoy the choir practice too much, but after the Christmas program in 4 weeks, that will end anyway.
I really want to get them in swimming and tae kwon do (tot kwon do, actually), but think I will wait until spring/summer to do that when there is no preschool! I think tae kwon do would be really great, assuming they take to it.
I have one with sensory issues, and I think the gymnastics is really helping him practice his listening skills (and remembering more than 2 instructions). Plus, he loves it and would go every single day if he could. BBB born 7/26/04 at 35 weeks
