I honestly feel that it is an individual situation, but that parents should be given the choice and THEY should be allowed to make the decision, NOT the school.
My boys are ID and have THRIVED since they were separated a year ago in their montessori school. My youngest son has remained in the same class as his sister and has done well. But when all 3 of them were together it was constant fighting, and the boys were always competing for attention from their peers and teachers. So it's very individual! Julie
