My DDs know their numbers and letters but my son is falling behind. They have been exposed to the same things such as preschool, letter/number activity books, etc. But my son is just not grasping anything. He can remember them while we go over them but if I ask him an hour later it's as if we never went over it. He can count up to 30 but doesn't really recognize the numbers (only if he writes them down starting at the number 1).

He's getting a little bit more additional help in school but I need to find some activities to do at home where he won't get bored or feel like he's being punished. Any ideas? They're doing addition and subtraction in school and my son is just lost because he doesn't even understand what he's writing down.
