You have great suggestions here, and I didn't read all of them so sorry if this is repeated. But could he be dyslectic?

Another thing to remember is that all kids are different no matter what! I think with multiples we know better than anyone. Some multiples may all learn at the same time and be on the same level. But not always. I have one boy who is always behind the other two academically...and always has been. We are very lucky that our school teaches the kids on the level that they are on. They actually have different level classes. It has been hard for me to accept that he is academically behind his siblings...but it's just the way it goes. I have gotten him a tutor and that helps a LOT! I try to spend extra time with him on homework and reading because he needs it. He always ends up learning the same things his siblings do...but it just comes later for him. It's just the way his brain works. He's not dumb, his brain is just not ready to learn it yet. I often have to repeat that last sentence to myself. I am always happily surprised when he does learn the things that his siblings learned before him.
