No, I don't think the teachers make the kids feel bad at all! But everybody is going to know who the kid is who doesn't know their letters. I think it's wonderful that your child is helping another learn. And I'm sure it makes Amanda feel very good about herself. But, inside, I'm sure that the other child feels like she is less smart just because she doesn't know what all her classmates know. It's not that anyone is making her feel bad, but she can look around and see that she is the only one who doesn't.
