Well about an hour ago last year I had my triplets! Well what a year it has been! I cant believe it! Their party is on Sunday and we have invited just about everyone we know. I am so excited and happy. They had their 1 year check up today and the doctor said I need to put up their bottles cold turkey. I dont know if I can do this. It is like closing a door to me. I am not going to have anymore children. Four is plenty for us, but I am not ready for them to be older and not need a bottle. I hate washing the bottles, but I am willing to keep on doing to keep my babies, well.....babies. I wonder if anyone else feels this way? Well anyway, I am sad and happy that we have made this far. Oh well just wanted to let everyone know how special this day is to me. Thanks

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! My babies turn one next week and I am having many of the same mixed emotions. I had an extremely serious cardiac complication and cannot have anymore babies, so this is it for us!

We are celebrating Saturday with over 150 people at our house. Pray it does not rain!!! I love their budding personalities and independence...but it is a bittersweet celebration.

Happy Birthday to your trio, today is my B-day too. My triplets turn one on June 5th and we were just talking to our neighbor who suggested giving up the bottle cold turkey on their first birthday and I thought I would cry. I know how you feel I am sick of washing bottles and buying formula but I can't believe my little sweeties are growing up. Have a wonderful party and enjoy the moment. Good Luck
