Well, I thought I would keep you posted. Still no fetal pole, but levels are definately going up. I had some bright red (very little) on Wed morn. Went to Dr. and things looked normal?.?... :0) No more bleeding that day. Thurs. morning same thing. No more bleeding that day. Woke up today, Fri, bleeding. Called Dr. but I decided not to go in, becuz basically there is not anything they can do. Talked with nurse and since the bleeding had been very little we both decided to keep an eye on it. Well, the office is now closed and I am BLEEDING. Bright red, enough to have used up the panty liner I was using for the old blood which had been occurring everyday. I go back to the Dr. Mon for v-u/s and bloodwork.
I am concerned. Since there are 4 gestational sacs, perhaps I will not miscarry all of them. This does not seem to be a good sign. I am not cramping or having fever or the usual checklist. I hope this will all work out for the good. I do know some of you have experienced a blood scare and was wondering if it was this type etc.
Looking forward to your responses.

I know this must be a very scary time for you. I know that bleeding is very common in HOM pregnancies, so it could simply be due to that. I've heard of lots of women have bleeding early in their pregnancies without any negative consequences. I had bleeding at 6 wks. in my pregnancy. At that time I was confirmed to be carrying four babies with heartbeats. I was terrified because I had a prior miscarriage that started with bleeding at 6 wks. After the bleeding, the doctors could only find 3 heartbeats, so they assumed that I miscarried one of the babies. I ended up with three beautiful little girls that just turned five. I don't want to scare you with my story but just wanted to let you know that the bleeding doesn't have to mean that the whole pregnancy is at risk. I'll have you in my thoughts this weekend and hope you get some answers and peace of mind on Monday.

I know how scary bleeding can be. I had HEAVY bleeding for a month at the beginning of my pregnancy. I just knew that I was having a miscarriage, but when I went in for a scan, everything was fine and the doctor thought that it was bleeding from the babies implanting into the lining of the uterus. My bleeding was very heavy and bright red and it lasted for a month. The entire time, I was very scared even though the babies looked fine on ultrasound. So, things can still be okay even if you are bleeding.
I will be thinking about you. Good luck on Monday!

I had two bleeding scares, the first of which was at 9 weeks. Bright red blood, filled the toilet bowl, some light cramps. I was absolutely certain I was miscarrying. I *did* decide to be seen and given an ultrasound. I needed to know what was happening! Thankfully they agreed and saw me immediately, and the ultrasound showed my little babies just happily bouncing away, oblivious to my terror.

Molls, even though there is nothing anyone can do, wouldn't you feel better going in to see what's happening? I don't understand why you would torture yourself all weekend with not knowing?

Thank you all for your support. Its nice to have experienced moms out there to ease the scary parts.
I know it must seem crazy that I did not want to go to the Dr. I had just gone on Wed. with bleeding. They looked and everything was fine. Thur. bleeding was same so, I was not that concerned. Fri same thing. I really figured since the amount had not changed I would not freak out. Concerned yes, but not overly terrified. Well, Friday after the office had closed is when all this hit. The bleeding still continues. Not large amounts, but blood is still blood and that is a very valid concern.
The on call nurse told me not to go to hospital until I had extreme cramping with very large amounts of blood.
Hindsite, I wish I would have went, but I had no idea the turn that this would take.
I will keep you posted.

Thanks for all your support and prayers.
