Twins sent to school on alternate days www.ananova.com
The parents of identical twin boys in China saved money by sending their sons to school on alternate days.
For six months, teachers and classmates at the school in western China thought the two boys were the same pupil until the ruse was discovered.
The parents said afterwards they came up with the idea to save "unnecessary expenditure", according to local newspapers.
They would send one boy to school on even-numbered days of the week and the other on odd-numbered days.
The boys were attending preschool classes for four and five year-olds at a primary school in Chongqing.

LOL Funny Dh and I used to joke about this. It started when I was looking into Mommy and Me type classes. Most of them have a 1 to 1 ratio so I joked we could pay one enrollment and swtich them out. With the girls they would never know but might wonder when showed up with a boy the next time. So he joked about the girls going to college as one student and alternating classes. LOL

Tasha, FYI, I did just that with a Gymboree class. I signed up and paid for one class, and brought a different child each week. I asked up front if this was ok, since we didn't have 3 adults every week, and they said it was fine. When we had an extra willing adult, we just paid a 'drop-in' fee for the other 2. Worked great, and gave me a little special time with each child.
Funny post, though! Hmmm, that college thing just might work... Laura

There were identical twins when I was in college who would occasionally go to class for each other so the other could skip. I went to a private school where we were only allowed a certain number of absences per class.
