#178964, "Vent... What a day!"

Well it started out as an okay morning. I planned on taking our girls to the mall this morning. I had to pick up their pictures at Sears and other errands. No big deal right. I knew it was going to rain sometime today but when who knew. We were getting ready and it started to storm and I thought well maybe we should just stay home. About 20 min later it stopped and started to brighten up outside. So I finished getting the girls ready to leave. We all left feeling pretty good. We arrived at the mall not realizing that the Easter bunny was there today and there were wall to wall kids and ignorant mother's all over. I thought, here comes the comments. I know what was I thinking on going to the mall on a Saturday. Anyways, we made it to Sears and of course there was a tons of new parents getting Easter pictures taken. So of course I had to wait bc there was only ONE person working. The girls became impatient and the usual tantrums in the stroller started. Screaming, pulling hair, getting bored real quick. Mean while Iam answering tons of stupid questions about us. I start to mind the questions after the 10th one. We got our pictures and left. I made the mistake of looking for spring jackets for them. We left a trail in Sears of yogart raisens and clothes behind us. I then stopped in the Baby Gap to see what was on sale. Found real cute pink ball hats and headbands for the girls. Okay started to check out the girls are still throwing fits wanting their hats. We checked out, and leaving trying to grab for anything, clothes whatever. I get them under control and the stupid alarm goes off. So back into the store I check the stroller, no extra merchandise, I said screw it we're leaving.

Sorry this is taking so long. We finally got home, at this point I am near exhaustion. The girls are tired and hungary. I am giving them a lecture and trying to stay sane for the ride home. Thinking that we are fine when we get home. I planned on feeding them lunch and then off to bed. I took one girl inside, and the second one decided she wasn't coming in when I told her to, so she went back down the steps and is running around in the drive way. I grab her and attempt to get the third who is still in her carseat. Shelby the third one gets out of her seat and goes to the other side of the suv. So I took Taylor inside and went back outside for Shelby. This happened so quick I still don't believe it happened. Somehow in trying to get her out of the car the doors got locked and now Shelby is inside having a ball. Watching me run from side to side to get her. The extra set of keys is inside the car in my purse. I called my dh for the other set of keys, he can't leave work. I called my neighbor to come over and stay with the other two, she isn't home. I go back inside to check on them, the mcdonalds that I bought for lunch they got into and the milkshake is all over the floor. I quickly cleaned that up, put a movie in for them and they were fine. Went back out to Shelby, and she finally decided to listen to me and come over to the window where I was standing and pushed that stupid unlock button. She is fine, the other two are fine. Lunch was served and then off to bed and then I layed down and took a long deserved nap as well. What a day. Again sorry so long. AHHHHHH!!!

OH man!! I have had those days way too many times!! Hugs to you! You think it can't get any worse and then it does. Three minds against your one. The odds are in their favor. Sometimes it gets so bad that I look around wondering where the hidden video camera is because this couldn't possibly be happening. I hope the rest of your day gets better.
