#1879, "Feeding/diapering charts?"
|
I'm sure you've all been asked for these many times, but I was wondering if any of you would be willing to e-mail me a copy of your feeding/diapering charts that you found helpful. I'm 27w and trying to "get organized"....Where to begin?! )
I haven't posted a whole lot, as I've had an uneventful (knock on wood) pregnancy, but I have lived and lurked here to try to learn all that I can. I'm so appreciative of all of you and this board!!

I just wanted to share what worked for us. My babies were really healthy so I found it saved a ton of time if I only recorded the unusual. It was a given that there would be x number of poopy diapers per day and a wet one every feeding and they would eat a certain amount each feeding, etc. I felt it much more effective for me to only record changes. I would never discourage you from logging everything but if your babies are healty once home it may be something for you to consider.

My sister made us a great book. It was seperated by color for each baby. I will be honets I wasnt always great about filing it in. Then we bought a big dry erase board, with a calendar and cork board. We hung it in the kitchen and would write everything for the day on it. AT the end of the day I would put it in the book. I found this too be a beter system for me, esp in the middle of the night. This way I could just quickly jot down the info. HTH. we moved last year, I will try to find the schedule book and send you a copy of the sheet Tara
