Just wondering, how many people feel that they are obsessed with TC? How much time do you all spend online everyday, and what percentage of it is on this site? I try to get online at least once a day. I read my email, read the top page of TC posts, and respond if I think there's something relevant to me, but that's it. I don't really ever explore other sites. I probably spend 30 minutes to an hour each day online, sometimes a little more, but that's about all the time I can really afford with three toddlers. I'm just curious.

Fair question. It does seem some more than others are constantly on here, I know I've been blasted for it. I have internet access at work & when it's slow, I jump on TC. Also, my computer is in the playroom so when they want to come in here, I check it out & dh has a laptop so when we are in the Living Room I can jump on as well. My trio go to daycare 1x a week so there's another day. I absolutely LOVE this board and I try to stay out of the drama but sometimes this Sicilian Long Islander has to put her .02 in too! Opinions are like a$$holes...everyones got one! LOL.

Tiffani, you crack me up LOL. I agree i jump on here during nap time, during Barney, at bedtime... My dh always gives me a hard time, he says, "Is that all you ever look at?" but he on the other hand tends to get on Mustang.com or whatever it's called. They like to compare cars, at least i'm talking about my kiddos . I seriously cannot imagine what it would have been like to have had the triplets back before internet existed

Yeah, those were the days....

A year ago I could afford to check TC daily and check email daily and all. Not so anymore. Life is just too busy now with four 2˝ year olds. It was so much easier a year ago. And from what I hear of the threes, I'm sure I'll be saying the exact same words a year from now. Enjoy early toddlerhood, ladies!! The fun's about to begin!!!

Not really obsessed, but I do come here every day. It may look like I spend a lot of time online, but really it is only 10 to 15 minute periods once or twice a day. It is the main sitting down and winding down time I have all day! It is automatic for me to come here after checking my e-mail and yahoo group. I have a couple other boards I read but don't participate really. I don't spend nearly as much time here as it seems!

I only ever get on at work. I have little 10 and 15 minutes of down time here and there so I liek to check in. There are no multiples groups or anything here, so this is all we have. It was my saving grace when I was pregnant with our crew.

Ahhhh, I remember the days where I spent hours on TC each day, during my 3 months of bedrest. It really got me though the boredum and fatigue.

Nowadays, I try to visit a few times a week. For a long time a had to stop coming because of the Faker witch-hunts - it plagued the boards and sucked the fun right out of this site. But things seemed to have calmed down, so I am back to lend my opinion when I can.

I am online 8 hours a day at work, because my job requires it. Sometimes I access TC, start a reply, and then get caught up in work stuff, and the TC window, and the reply, sit in the background for hours before I get back to it, so logging how much time I actually spend here reading and replying is fairly difficult. I'd have to say that probably about 30 minutes of reading all of the new posts during the day is about right. I do have two other sites that I check daily as well, one multiples related the other not, I spend more time on one of them because their format is more difficult and slower to load so that you can read the new posts.

Basically its a routine, come to work, open two email programs read, reply, delete, etc. Open the internet, and visit CNN to get my news (I'm a news junkie) jump to TC, scan postings for anything interesting, jump to the other two sites, and scan them as well. I will rescan all 4 of those sites at least 2 or 3 more times during the day, but much more briefly. But the windows are still open in the background while I'm working.

I had more time to spend actually cruising the net, back when they were taking 2 2 hour naps a day!

At night, after the kids are asleep, I repeat this process from home, emails, CNN, TC and the other two sites, usually at 11:30-12 midnight.

I'm at work right now, and there's a huge lull in business so I'm pretty bored today, so I will probably do some internet shopping and spend a bit more time on the net than I normally do.

I'm on TC for about 5 - 10 minutes every day. Mostly just read messages and sometimes post a response.
