I know we have all had lots of crazy comments from other people but I just had to post this one. I had an appointment yesterday and I had the girls with me. The young man who was waiting on me was taking info like SS#, address, DOB, etc. After each girl's name I gave the birthdate. He looked at me kind of strange and asked if they were twins. When I replied they were triplets, he freaked out. He said, "Oh wow! They even have their birthdays within 5 days of each other!" I said no that they had the SAME birthday. He got really animated and started yelling to his other co-workers, "Hey we got triplets here! And get this they ALL HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDATE!" I was rolling. He just couldn't stop talking about what a coincidence it was that they were triplets with the same birthday. When we were leaving he realized I had the girls with me and he hollered out to everyone in the room that the girls were triplets with the same birthday.

It was so funny!! I didn't even bother to try and explain.

People are always aking me if my girls are triplets. I tell them yes, and then about one quarter of the people will ask me if they were born on the same day. Duh!!! I have read in a couple of books that is actually medically possible for them to be born on different days, but very rare. I wouldn't have known that it was possible if I hadn't had triplets myself. Our comments seem to focus on explaining quadruplets is four babies.

LOLOLOL!!! BUT, our first birth of the year in San Bernardino County this year was a set of twins born in DIFFERENT YEARS!! The first was born on December 31, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. and the second was born on January 1, 2008 at 12:01 a.m.

Of course, we'd have really thought he was strange if he was impressed that all three were born in the same year, huh???
