This blows me away. Not because of the 2 sets of Triplets, but because how young she is. I struggled (and I know many others have as well) to have a baby and this 16 year old already has 7!

what about the fathers of these children? there's no mention of them and their promiscuity. yes, she has had four pregnancies (1 m/c, singleton, trips, trips), but she is young. she dated older teens. they should be responsible as well.

what are the chances of spontaneous triplet x 2 pregnancies??

in this girl's situation (and many others like hers) it really is enormously pathetic that the fathers can get off scott-free and walk away from the baby(ies) with relatively no impact on their lives. and in the meantime, this girl's life is forever changed. that is an enormous responsibility for such a young person to have to shoulder. 7 kids. i had lydia when i was not quite 19 with an incredible amount of support and it was difficult. i have 4 kids now at 31 and there are lots of days when it is overwhelming. but at 17? it seems to me that some good, quality education about prevention could have gone a long way in this (and many similar others) situation.

It is Sunday now and although I give thanks everyday I am more focused on Sunday to give thanks............thus, after reading this I am thankful that she lives in Argentina and we taxpayers don't have to support this disgusting, idiodic behavior! At nearly $250,000 to raise a child from birth to 18 we would have been on the hook for $1.75 million at a minimum! I think we have more than enough idiots to support here! Perhaps someone out there knows someone that could offer to adopt those babies?????

After the first set...how did she find the time to be with another guy to produce the second set! On that one picture I noticed the one year olds with a knife in reach...and what looked like raw meat. Now the raw meat could be cultural, but the knife? It seems to me like the kids may be raising themselves. Also...why did her mother let the father of the first set of triplets live in HER house with her minor daughter, let alone beat her? Something smells fishy here.

I at first thought this was fake, lol. Something you'd see in a magazine where Elvis was spotted. Then I saw the pictures and got sad. The enviroment these babies are living in is filthy. I'm not discriminating, but if you have hardly any money to take care of yourself why would you keep having babies. I don't care if you are 16! It's common sense to know these babies are going to have hard times and what she has done is selfish. Is there child support over there? Cause I'm not putting it all on her. It's crazy that 3 dads are involved (technically) and aren't helping. And why would you refuse to name the 2nd set of triplets father? Hmmm, makes you wonder.

When did it become more socially acceptable to *keep* babies and solicit *support* from goverment and other agencies instead of providing your children with an opportunity of a better life through ADOPTION? Seriously you girls need to step away from the computer for a minute and look at how judgmental you are being. This poor girl made some life decesions that you would not have made, she was blessed to have two sets of triplets. Yes I went through hell and highwater for my kids but does that mean that everyone who did not do fertility treatments do not deserve their triplets. It does not mean that at all.

and as far as "how clean the house is" I have seen pictures of Cat with Three kittens house and well even some other around here and they are not much better. I do not see eveyrone jumping all over them

How sad and horrifying. If she lived in America, surely CPS would step in and take HER and all those children. She's only a child and should be treated as one and they should all be removed from the household. The parents have failed her. Where were her parents when these men were having sex with their little girl? She is a victim as surely as those babies are.

So now we were perfect as teenagers as we are now, and have never made any horrible/life altering decisions. Did you ever hear of the teenage mindset of "it can't happen to me" or his sister "It can't happen to me AGAIN?" I guess working with a severely distorted population has geared me to be more accepting of these situations and my first instinct is to support and encourage, rather than bad mouth a SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD GIRL.

Maybe her family sucks balls and never considered her needs before their own, and that is how she has come to find herself in this situation. Who Knows? Do I think she made the correct decisions? No.....but she didn't consult me either. Nor did she consult any of you. I would hate though for her to log in here one day and find that we, as adults, are not supportive or compassionate of her because of the circumstances in which she finds herself.

BTW, I have seen worse living conditions in this very country. It would make your stomach turn but those children were not removed by CPS (CYS it's called here). One in particular was utterly filthy and the younger brother was being anally raped by the older brother. This was a known FACT and CYS did nothing, but I did. Not looking for a pat on the back, just to show you that it is a system of human error and it is overburdened. But God bless you that can live in your prefect house with your perfect life and never find your own children or yourselves in this situation.


Once again I am just astounded at the close mindedness of some of you fellow triplet mothers. Some of you actually sound JEALOUS of this girl because she is so fertile. GROW UP.

I really dislike the statement that teenage mothers raise children that don't have a chance in life...

Ummmm, I was 18 when I conceived ds (actively trying for almost a year) and I don't think he's ruined for life...He actually is a pretty darn good kid that has a great head on his shoulders and was raised by a strict, but loving mother, who happened to be about 10 years younger than all the other moms that looked down their nose at me, because of the f%$#ing stereotype of young mothers. Whatever...As long as someone is raising their children properly, shouldn't matter their age.

Wow my head hurts thinking about having another set of triplets running around my house. That is going to be one tough job for her and her mother. Its unfortunate that she has such a tough road ahead and is so young. It reminds me of a triplet mom in my town who was a single young mom with a singleton and then went on to get pregnant with triplets. Granted that is just one set.

You know I remember reading a post a while back about the hx of several sets of multiples in families, etc. I remember seeing records of moms having many more sets of triplets, twins, quads, etc. Of coarse many sets didnt survive, but man it has to be so much harder taking care of multiples without all of our modern baby times, ie bouncy seats, swings, boppy, crib tents, cribs, disposable diapers and wipes, triplet strollers, choo choo wagons, etc.
