I couldn't believe this when I read it! Has anyone else heard anything about it?

How sad and horrifying. If she lived in America, surely CPS would step in and take HER and all those children. She's only a child and should be treated as one and they should all be removed from the household. The parents have failed her. Where were her parents when these men were having sex with their little girl? She is a victim as surely as those babies are.

Actually, I worked for CPS for a while. Those children look clean and healthy to me, not neglected. Sure the house is cluttered, but not everyone is as privileged as some of us...honestly, it looks similar to many houses I have seen in Central and South America. As long as she had family support (and she does, as outlined in the article) and could provide for the children (and I'm guessing she can, as they have food in the house and their clothes look fine) then she would keep her babies.

I'm sure CPS wouldn't have overlooked the boyfriend living in the house BEATING HER. I know CPS doesn't do much in my state, but I still have faith they will improve.

seriously this girl does not need our judgment she needs our support. we are priviliaged to live in a an a country that has living conditions so much better than where she is, should we judge her for that?

I just said she was a VICTIM and that her parents FAILED HER. I really didn't think her living conditions looked bad at all. Of course even a crackwhore could put clothes on their kids and clean the house up before publicity photos are taken. So I don't think those pictures mean much, even though I didn't think they looked that bad. I think the story of the boyfriend living in the home and beating her when she was still only 15 and had one set of triplets to be a more accurate picture of her living conditions and the environment the children are being raised in.

So how are you going to support her? Send her money? Clothes? Food? A Norplant? What's the plan for support besides saying we should support her? I personally can't get all worked up over some girl in another country, when there have been single teenage girls giving birth to triplets in my own multiple's club.

Apparently there are people in her own country that feel this is unacceptable (article below), so it's not just elitist Americans, lol.

I, for one, would think a 16-year-old mom to FOUR kids, three of whom are triplets, would think twice before having sex. Heck, I think twice about having sex and I'm in a committed relationship, 27, and can afford more children.

Something isn't right with this picture. Maybe she doesn't know how babies are made?

NO! Ya think????? That made me spit my water. I hear Argentines are very judgemental though. I'm personally going to buy her a full-sized van to show my support from America.

(The teenage girl that got pregnant in our club quit when we wouldn't buy her a van for real. That was after we gave her money, clothes, food, and two triplet strollers and her mother yelled at us for not doing enough. Maybe I can finally make up for that whole "not buying the unwed teenage triplet mom a van" thing. This is my big shot. I can feel it.)

You weren't in the club back then, so you are blameless for the way we treated that young gal, not buying her a van and all, and not giving her ALL the money in our accounts. Oh, and after we gave her two triplet strollers, she showed up at the picnic with a brand-new triplet jogging stroller. She didn't want used stuff, after all. So I think you deserve not just a van, but a brand new van. What kind would you like? I'll put a request in at the next meeting.

Support her by not being judgmental, you have no idea what this young girl has been through, do I think she needed to have a second set of triplets, no but the children are here and the last thing she needs is a bunch of self righteous triplet moms across the country judging her. Why not stand up for her. The children are here, it is not like you can give them back. Yes, she could have given them up for adoption, but really is that your decision to make. And hell their could be people out there that think that maybe some of you should have given your kids up for adoption. How would you feel if they voiced that.

I am not saying send her money, or to send her things, that is unless you want to. I am saying that as moms of multiples we should stand by her and not judge her. Being a multiple mom is hard enough the last thing any of us need is bull #### like this.

We are each entitled to our opinion and last I looked, we still are entitled to voice it. (however...if you look in Canada and France...awful close to home...freedom of speech is becoming jeopardized) We all know people who have children where the children would be better off if they had been given up for adoption...one of them is a friend of mine who had years of therapy because of it. Just because Pamela is a TRIPLET mom does not entitle her to anything, including our solidarity. We have the right to give it or withhold it.

I am not trying to persuade you to change your mind about giving her your support...however, I am trying to change your mind about cussing us out for withholding ours.

I guess we didn't get our Support Other Triplet Mothers No Matter What Badge. I just laughed so hard I choked on my coffee. I know A LOT of triplet mothers in real life and some of them are total WHACK JOBS and people I would NEVER choose to hang out with JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE TRIPLETS.

But don't worry. I'm sure I can change. I'm getting the badges made up. Maybe we then will have Triplet Mother Solidarity, Batman.
