I'm curious about this too... I have been thinking about getting one but I want something that incorporates all the triplets and my 4 year old. My husband had a tiger done with our 4 year olds name after she was born and then he had 3 little paw prints added with the triplets name just recently. I don't want anything quite that big but I would like something. I've seen some nice hearts and vines with names but I want something unique.

Yeah...the first time I saw them in the incubators in the NICU, their likenesses were tattooed right across my heart. Haven't felt the need to get it tattooed anywhere else.

I have one designed but can't get it until after I'm done pumping, I'm down to once every 36 hours so hopefully it will be soon. I'm doing an "anklet" ....each of their names with some Hindi style embellishments and an OM "charm" dangling down in a henna color.

I have 4 children and last year I got a tattoo of a lotus flower with 4 butterflies 'coming out of it'. Each butterfly has one of my children's initial's in it and is also 'their' color.

I am interested in this topic too. It is funny how it seems to come up every year at different times. I have not done my tattoo yet but I have figured out what I want. I already have one that I got 10 years ago and I love it still. Now though, this tattoo will have meaning to it.


Since we did an FET I am going to have 3 snowflakes (each one different) going down my shoulder. To me it also has some humor to it. I always threaten them that " I froze you once, I can do it again!!" I would like them to be white but I know white tats are hard to do so I am going to have to fine someone REALLY good. The background may need to be a darker blue/purple to make them stand out.

My favorite topic!!!!!!! And I did get one tattoo that is for my kids. I ended up with a lotus flower and the scorpio symbol in the middle with their names around the flower.


I don't have picture with me here. Might have one at home to put up later.

But here was some of my thinking that may help you out.

I looked to see what their Animal was from the Asian calendar. It was a sheep. Not a cool tattoo at all. So then I thought of a scorpian since they are scorpio's. But felt that was a bit to masculine.

Then I tried to make their names form the symbol of scorpio, but that didn't work either.

So I went and seeked out an artist that I liked. Then I showed him all the stuff I had and what the tattoo was to mean and be for and he came up with a few sketches for me.

I LOVE mine!!! Now if I just had the $$$ for another!

I have a yellow rose on my hip (I am a Texas girl). On three of the petals I have the boys' names on them. It's beautiful and is full representation of the 4 of us.

Does anyone have a small one on the bottom of their wrist? I really like the footprint ones a lot, but I don't want one all the way up my arm...I was thinking maybe three small footprints wrapping around the bottom of my wrist? However, that seems like it would be painful there?

Here is a pic of my pudgy ankle lol. I have feet going around my ankle like an anklet. I got it about 5 years ago, I thought it was really cute and I always liked the poem "Footprints in the Sand" I know that's cheesy. There are 13 feet, ironically that comes out to a pair for each of my 6 children and 1 extra foot. It could be for the baby I lost.

This was really sexy when I got it and now the feet have stretched haha.
I really like the pea pod tat, I was thinking after I lost some weight I would get a new one as my reward.

I posted my tat for you. I was curious about your blog, I am still at the flab point and I also have a bad separation. Did you have any luck with exercise at all? My dr. told me I could do sit ups forever and never get a flat tummy. I am trying to lose the weight so I can have surgery later on. I would love to see your pics if you don't mind? They would inspire me I am sure.

Two years ago dh and I got tattoos in Vegas on our birthday. Mine is on my left shoulder blade and it is about 1.5 inches long - it is the boys' initials intertwined. Dh used the same style of lettering for his, which is on his upper arm. They both turned out really nice! It really didn't hurt that bad - the "coloring in" was worse than the outlining process.

Here is my tattoo, bigger than I wanted but nothing I can do now. I have my kids name with their colors, and 3 butterflies represent my 2 miscarriages and my quad I lost 3 months into my pregnancy.

I have 2 tattoo's both can be hidden by socks (well the older kind that went up past the ankle, lol) or pants for work etc...
I got the 1st before me and dh got married 10 years ago (he has the same one on his arm).
The 2nd I got after my 1st m/c 7 years ago.

I can not wait to get my next tatt.

I have been thinking I will wait till I get my tummy tuck, then above the scar line I will get all of my kids foot prints, kind of like on a tight rope.
After all it is THEIR fault I had to get the tummy tuck! lol!
Right now I have 5 kids so I will get 5 feet (only 1 foot per kid).
I do plan on having 1 more baby down the road. so I will either have to have that baby before the tummy tuck or save some room after the tummy tuck.

I hope to get my TT in about a year or so.

PLEASE post pictures when you get it done.

Ok I got it. Here it is right after which is why it's so red. Also please excuse the stretched out heart I got in college. It didn't make it through two surgeries. I'm going to get a cover up tattoo for it and make it into a ladybug in a few weeks.

My husband loves dragons, so he wants to get 2 2-headed dragons. One for the boys and one for the girls. The heads will be their favorite colors and I think he will get their names on there somewhere too.

I want one, but I am totally terrified. I think if I ever get thin, there will be something with monkeys because that is what I have been calling them since they were 7 months old.
