I'll speculate that this mother used fertility drugs purchased illegally, not that she 'received fertility treatments' like some are saying. Reminds me of women we periodically come across here and elsewhere on the Web that are perfectly fertile but purchase clomid online to try to increase their chances of conceiving twins, triplets etc. Now there is a whole new wave of stigma being created out there about how irresponsible fertility treatments are because of situations like this.

Hope it's not out of line to say that, but when this story comes up in various circles of friends and acquantances I've found myself having to 'defend' the use of fertility treatments.

That said, glad the babies are doing well and I'm amazed she carried almost three times the number of babies I carried nearly as long. Congrats to them. My babies were born at 34 weeks and were bottle fed for about two days, but then had to be switched to gavage feeds for about three weeks, so the bottle feeds could be accurate.
