Anyone have a Shark Vacuum Navigator? I need to get a new vacuum and watched the infomerical on this the other night and it looks good. I can not afford a Dyson or that would be my first choice.
I appreciate your reviews on this.
Thanks, Angela Mom to Jaxon, Jagger, and Jordan 9/18/05

We have one that my mother bought us. I think for the price it's absolutely amazing.
I cannot compare it to a Dyson or a Rainbow but it totally clobbered our Hoover canister vacuum.
When we got it, it we did a thorough vacuuming of our entire carpeted areas with our old vacuum. Then we immediately used the Shark and wholly crap there was a lot of dirt in the canister.
We've had ours for a year now and it's still going strong, just be sure to follow the cleaning instructions. I love ours! We have 6 inside pets with a lot of shedding and my Navigator does wonderful. I used a Dyson to clean my office at work, and I prefer the Navigator. It is my first upright and I really do like it. The cost is very competitve.

I have the navigator lift away and LOVE IT! I have used the Dyson and have a Rainbow and I prefer the Shark. It is so much lighter, has the turning of the dyson ball, I think it cleans better than the dyson personally and the lift away you can take the canister off the upright an do harder to reach areas easier, stairs and such. I still like my rainbow when I bought prekids but it is a PITA to get out and use. But still even being 13 years old neither the shark or dyson to come close to how well it cleans. But for its cost they shouldn't. LOL But did I mention it is a PITA. So for daily use I would go with the shark. I got mine directly though sharks website for about the same cost as Sears and Target after shipping and got their steam mop free. Don't know if they still have that deal. We have the Shark for our upstairs and the Dyson for our downstairs. We bought them a few months apart last year. I LOVE the Shark. I think it picks up more than the Dyson. And I think that its a lot quieter too.
My only complaint is that some of the cleaning tools do not seem to be intuitive, so I actually need to think when I'm using the accessories .
