Hi everyone,
I don't post as often as I used to but still jump on from time to time. Having a bit of a scare and am a big believer in the power of prayer so I thought I'd ask for yours. Went in a couple weeks ago for a CT scan for some recurrent UTI symptoms. Everything turned out fine with one exception. They ran a scan of my liver as a matter of routine and have ended up finding a small mass which they can't confirm to be a simple cyst. Now I have to go for an MRI to try and confirm what it is. Of course all kinds of scary things are crossing my mind but I'm trying to remain postive (a little tough when I look at all my little ones faces and imagine the worst!). To top it off, my dad died of liver cancer.
Any prayers you can send our way would be most appreciated.
Bless you all!
Ellyn and the lucky 13!

Many prayers for you Ellyn. Yes, it will feel like an eternity but with Halloween in the mix, hopefully it will go quickly.
You can always ask to be called if they get a cancellation.

Dear Ellen, We are lifting you up in prayer and surrounding you and your family in healing white light! Use the power of slow, deep breathing to breathe in light, hope, and healing, while breathing out fear, disease, and distress. Visualize warm, healing white light radiating out from your core and illuminating the darkness.
We use less than 20% of our brain capacity and your mind is incredibly powerful. A basic law of the universe is that you cannot create or destroy energy, you can only change its form. The law E=MC2 is Energy=Mass x 2x the Speed of Light. Think how water changes into steam/fog/ice and then back into water again. Think how conception itself is "energy" out in the universe that slows way, way down into "mass" and a baby is conceived. You are fabulous at conceiving have this power within you! This means you want to visualize the cyst in your liver and visually "speed up" the mass like a tornado, faster and faster, until it transforms back into pure energy and disappears.
Liver cysts occur in 1% of the population and are more common in women. They are generally benign and have sometimes been there since birth. See http://my.clevelandclinic.org/disorders/gs_liver_disease/gs_liver_cysts_tumors.aspx
I believe that all DIS-EASE is a person's body trying to tell them something about their body. It is an opportunity to listen and learn what your body is saying. What is your body trying to tell you? What health messages can you learn from this? Only you know the answers to these questions. It might be as simple as focusing more on your own health-a difficult task for most mothers!
I lost both my father and brother to cancer, so I completely understand the terrible fear that familial cancer can cause. Remember the antidote to fear is COURAGE.
You are right about the power of prayer. Studies show that even if someone does not know that people are praying for them, they get better! Use the power of your love and your courage. We are all surrounding you with our universal arms!
Please let me know if there is anything I can do. We have not yet come back to Michigan, but I do plan to meet you someday when we do!! My email is bchergun@wtp.net
This is the quote I love for you: All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.
