Hi everyone,

I don't post as often as I used to but still jump on from time to time. Having a bit of a scare and am a big believer in the power of prayer so I thought I'd ask for yours. Went in a couple weeks ago for a CT scan for some recurrent UTI symptoms. Everything turned out fine with one exception. They ran a scan of my liver as a matter of routine and have ended up finding a small mass which they can't confirm to be a simple cyst. Now I have to go for an MRI to try and confirm what it is. Of course all kinds of scary things are crossing my mind but I'm trying to remain postive (a little tough when I look at all my little ones faces and imagine the worst!). To top it off, my dad died of liver cancer.

Any prayers you can send our way would be most appreciated.

What health messages can you learn from this? Only you know the answers to these questions. It might be as simple as focusing more on your own health-a difficult task for most mothers!

I lost both my father and brother to cancer, so I completely understand the terrible fear that familial cancer can cause. Remember the antidote to fear is COURAGE.

You are right about the power of prayer. Studies show that even if someone does not know that people are praying for them, they get better! Use the power of your love and your courage. We are all surrounding you with our universal arms!
