I apologize for it being offensive that I put a link instead of copy and pasting my answer. My intentions are clearly to help other moms of multiples based on my experience of what I have learned the long way many times, hoping to help other moms not have to learn the long way like I did. I have written a moderator to understand the best way to try and share my thoughts for whatever they are worth on this forum. So here it is:
I cannot recommend this product highly enough because these baby and toddler travel beds have enabled us to be able to continue to enjoy traveling. It has been so nice to be free to travel to visit family and friends and even go to Disney World.
The Kidco Peapod Plus Indoor/Outdoor Travel Bed is the bed to get for several reasons. It works well for babies six months old up to six years old, so you will definitely get your money's worth. These Travel Baby Beds are essentially a lightweight sleeping tent that folds away compactly for effortless portability.
There are several reasons that these toddler travel beds work so well with multiple babies or toddlers. The first one is that speaking for our kids; they LOVE them and are so excited when they have the opportunity to sleep in their tent.
We can fit four of them easily into our car for traveling is a huge benefit to these travel beds. We would not be able to fit four pack and plays and they soon would out grow them anyways.
The main reason I value this product as a mom of four children ages three and under is the containment factor. I have found containment to be the number one element to consider with so many little ones to keep safe. The Peapod Travel Bed zips closed and once our toddlers learned to unzip the tent, we simply got a large diaper safety pin and safety pinned all of the zippers together. Problem solved!
A funny story about this is that our youngest is not going to get away with anything because we have an arsenal of containment measures left over from his older triplet siblings ready to implement at all times.
This summer we were staying at my parents’ house for an extended visit. All of our kids were down for the night. My mom was relaxing in her room and I was in the kitchen.
All of a sudden I hear our youngest child in my mom’s room. I called to my mom to ask her why she got him up. She said that she didn't, she thought that I got him up.
Well apparently our baby had climbed out of his pack and play, opened his door, and then walked upstairs. The little guy thought he had just learned how to gain some freedom when in reality he just sentenced himself to containment sleeping from now on. It was no problem for me, just entertaining. I had my Peapod Travel Bed ready to go. Within about ten minutes he was back in bed, zippers safety pinned together and everything just to be sure.
The good thing was that he was so happy about it because he felt like a big kid since he has seen his older brothers and sister sleeping in their tents.
One fear I had about traveling with our toddlers was that most likely the room where they would be sleeping would not be baby proofed. The Peapod Travel Bed solves this problem for us because we can go to sleep in another room having peace of mind that they will remain in their travel bed all night long until we go to get them in the morning.
