My tongue in cheek post got pulled yesterday advertising my blog but someone else who advertises her blog on every single post isn't getting hers pulled?? How does that work exactly? So does that mean the rest of us can start plugging our blogs to make money on here too?

Please explain this to me.

I still see one from you yesterday. Did you have another one? For the record (and NOT directed at you), no one cares if you post your blog at the botton of your posts. Many of us do that. Heck, mine is still there and I haven't updated in about a year. However, when you stop answering questions and just direct everyone to your blog because you want the click it is VERY annoying. Trying to force people to go to a blog because you think you are going to make money is advertising. You need to pay for advertising here.

I'm right there with you Lori. How about actually just posting an answer to a post instead of trying to make money. LOTS of us have blog addresses with our signatures. Me included. IF someone feels so inclined to read a blog then click on the link. Don't direct people to it!

I have to agree. And many here can attest there is no real money in an info blog about raising triplets! As my favorite quote from the show The Big C says, "The internet is for porn not research" So unless you are going to change the topic of your blog just stop trying to direct me to your blog and answer the darn questions. Because I may click and just copy and past the crap here just out of spite for the annoyance factor.

Ok that totally drives me crazy. It is presumptuous and rude. If I like your response to a question I might check out your blog, but when all you do is hawk a poorly written blog I will certainly boycott it. Isn't it funny how the blogs that we all read and enjoy aren't shoved down our throats like the witnesses that keep ringing my doorbell every Saturday ? Enough already!!

I apologize for it being offensive that I put a link instead of copy and pasting my answer. My intentions are clearly to help other moms of multiples based on my experience of what I have learned the long way many times, hoping to help other moms not have to learn the long way like I did. I have written a moderator to understand the best way to try and share my thoughts for whatever they are worth on this forum.

The best way to share your thoughts is to just answer the questions. You don't have to direct every question back to your blog. If someone is interested in checking out the blog they can click on your link.

For the questions I responded to with a link was because I had already spent a lot of time thinking about those topics and putting together thoughtful answers in my posts of things that helped make life easier for us. I was trying to not have long winded responses on this forum and thought it was simpler to just post the link. My intentions are to help.

There are also topics I respond to that I have not put a ton of time putting my thoughts together on what was helpful to us and I just respond to the person with whatever comes to mind at the moment, obviously only for whatever they are worth.

The moderator suggested that I copy and paste my posts. Again, sorry to have been offensive, that was not my intention at all! I have tried to figure out immediately when it was brought to my attention I was offending people to contact a moderator myself to figure out the best way to participate in this forum to help.

This forum helped me when my tripelts were little and continues to for the stages we are entering now. My blog's intention is to give back and to try and help new parents of multiples based on what it took us awhile to figure out and eventually made our life easier.

Everyone is assuming I'm in it to my money. Clearly we all know blogs are not a money maker. My intentions are to help.

It was too late to let me edit my posts, so instead, I put up a new post apologizing, deleted the link to that post and copy and pasted the post there instead so no one has to go to my blog to find out any information on the topic I'm responding to trying to share our experience and what was helpful for us.
