So I was reading at my trio's school today and I noticed how very pale my kids looked compared to the others. Now granted two are blondies with blue eyes are are naturally pale but they looked sickly! THe other one is not that bad since she is dark eyesm hair and even a different skin tone. She tans nicely. But even she was looking a bit off. What can I do to get some color in their faces besides slapping them silly!?!?!? Yes, they eat well and their drs have never said anything about it. Maybe it is the florescent lights. We all look bad in them, right??????

Wish I had an answer on the pale kiddos. Wondering if they might be slightly anemic and whether their iron-levels are okay.

I just wanted to let you know that the sign-off made me chuckle... and that I sent you a message at the *exact* moment you posted.

Ahem, sorry that I misspelled your name. :-/

Don't know where you live, but are they getting outdoors and getting lots of fresh air? We're in snowy Michigan and yesterday alone we had out trio out downhill skiing in the morning and then did a sledding run with the triplets, twins, and our three year old in the afternoon. I had some pretty rosy cheeked little ones well into the evening! Other than that, no suggestions, other than what the PP already said. There's always Hello Kitty make-up just for fun!!

Ellyn and the lucky 13!

I agree with pp maybe a lack of iron? Even a child who eats well might be slightly anemic. Some people just run a little on the anemic side. Plus it being winter, not much outdoor or sun time, not vitamin D being soaked up from the sun.

Thanks ladies. They have not been outside a ton since it has been raining. Even when they do get outside The color doesn't last. In the summer they are great. I try to get them outside as much as I can. I guess it is time to start some viramins.

To the pp who mentioned Hello Kitty make up. I never thought of that. We have Barbie though.
